DELIVERY

We use several different couriers for our deliveries depending on size, weight and the number of parcels. We can’t guarantee urgent orders or Next Day deliveries.

We will offer free delivery on orders you place over R500 (Excl. regional & High-surcharge areas)

For Main Centres:

  • Free delivery for orders over R500
  • A standard fee of R100 will be charged to orders under R500

For Regional Areas:

  • Free delivery for orders over R800
  • A standard fee of R200 will be charged to orders under R800

For High-Risk Areas:

  • Pick-up from the nearest police station is required

     

    iKids therefore reserves the right to re-quote and charge for these deliveries in case of high surcharge areas. If our determined orders are subject to delivery charges after checkout and payment, we will inform you and you will have the choice to either pay the difference or cancel your order which if paid for already will entitle you to elect a credit on your account or an immediate refund in full.

    All stuff will be delivered to your doorstep directly. Deliveries are not done on weekends and public holidays and we only provide within South Africa. Our ability to deliver is also always subject to the availability of the goods and the supply of accurate delivery address details.

    Personally inspect the packaging and note any damage on the receiving ticket before signing. If you have not opened the packages please write the words “unchecked” next to your name on the waybill.

    We will always do our best to ensure that delivery happens on time. If we are unable to deliver the goods to you within the time periods specified above, we will contact you as soon as we become aware of any issues that will delay delivery to you.

      Courier within Cape Town takes 2-3 working days, main city centres between 3-4 working days and outlay areas between 4-7 working days. Please note that our standard delivery times are estimates and may vary due to external factors. Please also note the lead times on the manufacture of certain products. Additionally, if your city is located in a remote area, it might take additional days to receive your order.

      Please Note: Orders placed on Fridays, Weekends and Public holidays will be processed the next full working day.

       

      PRE-ORDER

      If only pre-orders are in your cart, the whole order will only be delivered when the items arrive.

      If you combine in-stock and pre-orders, all items will be shipped at once when all pre-order items are available, unless you request others to be delivered to you first with an extra delivery fee.

      You will be notified when items arrive with the expected date of delivery.

      Due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or logistical issues, the estimated delivery date may be subject to change. If you no longer wish to wait for the delayed shipment, you can cancel the pre-order and receive the full refund.

       

      PICK UP FROM WAREHOUSE

      The pick-up option will be available at checkout if it applies to the product. Orders can be collected by prior appointment, and you will not be charged for delivery.

      Collections can occur between Monday to Friday, 10 am to 3 pm, and you will need to give us 24 hours notice before collecting.

      Please take your order confirmation email when you come to collect your order from the warehouse where one of our friendly team members will assist.

      If you arrange your own courier for collection, please send a copy of the waybill. Should you choose to have a courier collect on your behalf, iKids will not be held responsible in the event that goods are lost or damaged before reaching the purchaser.

       

      RETURNS

      If you would like to return or exchange your order, you are welcome to do so within 7 days of the date of delivery. When making a claim please ensure you have your original invoice. The guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser.

      The product must be returned in its entirety and in the same condition as when it arrived at your site and it must not have been installed, removed. We will arrange the collection, a delivery charge will be levied regardless.

      You will then be able to choose something else from the shop or we will offer you a refund once we have received the item unopened and in saleable condition. We are entitled to to refuse a return if the product is returned damaged, missing an accessory or not in a re-saleable condition.

      You will be liable for the full transport costs which will be deducted from your refund and subject to a minimum of R100. Please note that this may differ from your original invoice as we offer free shipping on completed sales and sometimes subsidise, discount or absorb additional costs.

      All custom-made orders are made especially for you and are therefore final sales. We cannot accept returns, cancellations or exchanges on custom orders unless there is a manufacturer flaw.

      We do not offer any returns on international shipments.

      If your order is damaged or there are any shortages on delivery, please notify us immediately at customer@ikids.co.za or WhatsApp so we can make it right. Please explain the problem or defect and include any photographs so we can best assist you. It may be that only a replacement part is required instead of shipping the complete product back to us, which will be issued at our own discretion.

      All returns are subject to pre-approval. Products can be returned to iKids Cape Town warehouse by prior appointment with the invoice or packing list.

      If you fail to comply with the provisions of this Returns Policy, we reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you our fees and expenses.

      RETURNS CENTER
